The drive train utilizes a high-speed, high efficiency brushless motor to generate and transfer a larger amount of torque via a belt-pulley power transfer system. The drive pulley is 1”, while the wheel pulley is 16”. Given a torque ratio of 16:1, the system can accelerate without consuming much battery power.
FliteBike PAS is an ultralight power adapter kit, weighing just 5lbs (battery included). The added weight to the bicycle is nominal while it enhances the bicycle to new limits. As quickly as it can be added to the bicycle, it can be de-coupled completely from the bicycle in a simple belt removal in seconds.
Motorizing the front wheel while the rider continues to pedal, driving the rear wheel in tandem, yielding an unprecedented traction in a 2-wheel drive vehicle.
